Job Description:

Lexus Concrete is seeking a reliable and dedicated Lumber Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Lumber Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of lumber and other construction materials to our job sites and customers. You will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver lumber and other construction materials to designated locations.

• Ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time, following the scheduled delivery routes.

• Load and unload lumber and materials, ensuring they are secure and protected during transit.

• Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.

• Maintain delivery logs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.

• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery sites.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at job sites.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Experience in driving large vehicles, such as trucks, for delivery purposes.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, often in excess of 50 lbs.

• Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes is a plus.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
